Lee (Herb)'s Story
Life took some ups and downs for me. But after working for many years in political activism, some jobs that worked out and some that didn't, and leading two statewide political organizations, today I am a county-wide elected official in Illinois, as McLean County Recorder of Deeds. It's slowed down a little these days, but for years I regularly appeared on radio and TV as a political commentator. I am married and have 3 teenage children. OH, the name...you knew me in high school as "Herb." Thought it was an old man's name. So after high school I changed to my middle name. Lee. Been that way ever since.
